Upshot: Stories of Financial Futures

Upshot is an anthology of seven science fiction stories with financial themes, curated by South African powerhouse Lauren Beukes and featuring  Tade Thompson, Mohale Mashigo, Charlie Human, Angela Makholwa, Bongani Kona and me.

Lauren says in her introduction:

I picked some of the best writers I know, whose work is bold and imaginative, deeply human, and also has something to say about who we are in the real world.

I contributed two stories: "Undercurrency", a story about kelp farming in the Atlantic ocean, and "According to Plan", about an algorithm that takes over your financial planning, whether you like its plan or not. You can read both stories for free online.
